Head Coach Kevin Wilson was alive on Twitter Sunday night announcing something big was cooking in Hoosier Nation, no it's not Crock Pot Wednesday yet either. Well it turns out that some thing big was offensive tackle Brandon Knight. Knight had some big time offers from schools like Virginia Tech and Miami as well as several Big Ten schools like Minnesota, Illinois, Maryland, and Purdue. It ultimately came down to the two Hoosier State rivals and Knight delighted the fans in Crimson and Cream announcing his commitment via twitter late Sunday night.

Knight, a 6'5" 275 lbs. tackle from Noblesville, Indiana is ranked as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports.  He is also listed as the 10th best player in the state of Indiana and 78th nationally at his position. Knight was in Bloomington this past weekend while attending one of the IU football camps. He was recruited by coaches Kevin Johns and Greg Frey.  Wilson's staff has done a terrific job in keeping top instate players at home in the 2015 class.  This commitment is edging the Hoosiers closer to being Top 50 nationally in recruiting.
