Coveted Wide Receiver Elijah Sarratt Commits to the Hoosiers

The Indiana Hoosiers and Curt Cignetti continued their big day in the transfer portal by landing a big fish in former James Madison wide receiver Elijah Sarratt. He is the Hoosiers 10th incoming transfer from JMU and is the highest rated as well. He held transfer offers from Wisconsin, West Virginia, South Carolina, Purdue and others.

The 6’2” 207-pound sophomore led the Dukes in receiving in 2023. He played in all 13 games, including the Armed Forces Bowl, and hauled in 82 passes for 1,191 yards and eight touchdowns. He also added a score on the ground. Prior to James Madison, Sarratt played for FCS level St. Francis where he was a freshman all-American netting 700 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on 42 catches.

Sarratt is a go to receiver for any quarterback and gives the Hoosiers another reliable target in the wide receiver room.
