Name: Brady Feeney 6-4 325 lbs
Position: Offensive Guard
Hometown/High School: St. Louis, MO/ Christian Brothers College High School
247 Composite Ranking: 3-Star (84.44)
As four-year starting offensive guard, Feeney has helped CBC to back-to-back Missouri State Championships. Feeney, who has no relation to former Hoosier All-American Dan Feeney, picked up All-State Selection, All-District and All-Conference honors in both his sophomore and junior years. He is the only junior offensive lineman to have earned American Family Insurance All-USA Missouri Football First Team Offense honors in 2018. Feeney picked up an honorary USA football invite to be played in January 2020. With his senior season-ending knee injury suffered in October, it is unlikely he will be able to participate, but expects to be recovered by February.
Feeney flipped from his previous verbal commitment to Rice University when he got his first power-five offer from Indiana. Other offers came in from Ball State, Kent State, and Memphis, South Dakota, and Yale. Him and his family have been to Bloomington to visit often since his July commitment.
“Indiana stood out to me because I felt at home,” Feeney told Hoosier Huddle, “The atmosphere was right up my alley, and I could see myself at this university for the next four to five years. It was just as much of a gut instinct as it was a practical choice. I knew I could get an amazing education at Indiana, I knew I would be playing power five football, but I feel like it is just as important to feel at home.”
Feeney is comparable to Coy Cronk in terms of size and athleticism. He plays to the whistle and has the mentality to fit the mold of a Big Ten offensive lineman. As a captain of his team, Feeney possesses leadership qualities and is all-around an incredible catch that will undoubtedly represent the Hoosiers well in the classroom and on the football field.
