#B-TownBound: Tyler Green is Number 11 for the #CrimsonArmy15

This past weekend the Indiana Hoosiers hosted nine prospects for that were looking to be a part of the Crimson and Cream from 2015 and on. On Sunday morning coach Kevin Wilson and his staff announced that the CrimsonArmy15 is growing in both number and talent when safety Tyler Green verbally committed to play his college football in Bloomington. Green, out of Hyattsville, MD, was once an Ohio State commit and holds offers from Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina State, and Hawaii and is rated three stars by 247 Sports’ composite rankings. He is the 14th best prospect out of Maryland and the 36th best safety prospect in the country.
This is a major victory for Wilson and his staff on the recruiting battlefield. The Hoosiers landed a player who can physically handle the rigors of the Big Ten at 6-3 195 pounds with 4.5 speed. Green will add some depth to the safety position and will probably see plenty of playing time along side Antonio Allen and Chase Dutra. Green could also switch to cornerback and have the chance to start right off the bat as the Hoosiers lose both starting corners from 2014 as both Tim Bennett and Michael Hunter leave. Green brings the 2015 class number up to 11 and boosts the Hoosiers national ranking up a few notches to 68th. Indiana still sits at 13th in the Big Ten. While this is a great grab for Kevin Wilson and his staff there are still commitments to get.
