The 2024 Hoosier Huddle Countdown to kickoff continues with 74 days util the start of the Hoosier’s football season! Every day, we take a look at players on the current roster and highlight their roles in the upcoming season. Today we are looking at number 74, offensive lineman Bray Lynch.
Name: Bray Lynch
Hometown: Austin, Texas (Westlake)

Lynch is an absolute unit who attended the famous Westlake High School where some of the biggest NFL names came from, such as Drew Brees, Nick Foles, and Justin Tucker. Lynch was a part of Westlake’s threepeat, winning state championships from 2019-21. He was named second-team Academic All-State as a senior and ranked the #42 offensive tackle in the nation per ESPN.
After a stellar performance in high school, he opted to continue pursuing his football career with the Hoosiers. After appearing in four games his initial season, he decided to redshirt in 2022. He then appeared in five games as a redshirt freshman in 2023 and saw time at offensive line and special teams.
With the return of offensive line coach, Bob Bostad, and the addition of other outstanding linemen, Indiana can show how much their line has improved. Lynch will be an essential part of the offense this season. He’s a very powerful blocker who will be vital to the Hoosiers’ run game and has the ability to keep a clean pocket against some of the toughest Big Ten defenses. His intelligence shows on and off the field, and his remarkable energy will help elevate and unite Indiana’s offense throughout the season.
The Hoosier Huddle Countdown to Kickoff continues with Day 73 tomorrow!
