I love breakfast.  It's my favorite meal of the day. I just can't eat much when I first wake up.  I need a few hours, so it's usually after 9 and really around 10 before I can stomach a real breakfast.  Breakfast for supper cannot be beat.

This is going g to happen next weekend.

The Kolache Factory does these, only they use their bread-like dough, not biscuit dough.

That looks really good.  I wish I had more metabolism...

I usually skip breakfast and often have breakfast for lunch.  It's great.

Not the buns I'm used to seeing on the OTF. Do we have violations for the HH OTF?

And to the original topic, I totally agree. So many foods that traditionally are served with American breakfast that are in my top favorite foods.

Eggs, bacon, breakfast sausage, breakfast gravy (bacon, sausage or peppered), biscuits, ham, pancakes, waffles, hash browns/home fries etc etc. I could eat it any time.

Biscuits from a can are a poor representation of biscuits

Making your own is better by a mile.

@receipt-keeper I always tell my wife that her scratch biscuits are by far better. She doesn't know how to react because it takes more work to make them from scratch. But I think deep down she appreciates the compliment.

While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon

For years now I am tasked with bringing a couple of pitch in items to my daughter's Christmas brunch get together where she invites us, the in-laws. a few close friends and outlaws. I always brought a breakfast casserole and it always went well, but I added a French toast casserole a few years back and now ANY get together I am asked to bring it. It looks very much like this video.

Bacon, eggs, fried potatoes are a regular dinner here in the trailer park. But for me the best breakfast type meal is the wife's version of a sausage Egg McMuffin.

Adding sugary cream cheese and a butter/brown sugar mix must really make it sing... lawdy that looks good.

French toast casserole

Isn't that just a fancy term for "bread pudding?"
