@dbmhoosier when people say please d on t say tariffs it’s bc they don’t want to face reality. Specifics for me. My house. Coffee and toys. But it’s all goods will be felt. Dbm this isn’t theoretical. Now. Every time my company shows up at the door of a business with my products either they or I have to pay a tariff tax or the product will be returned. This expense is reality. That cuts into my margins. You don’t think I won’t make my customers pay more? Along with every other small business. And I ship overseas. So pay twice. So I’m in negotiations to live my shit all back to the states. And my prices will easily go up 25 percent that will be passed on to customers - adidas is raising their prices along with everyone else. It’s common sense. So unless there’s wage increases people will be paying more for goods
And if that happens, Mamdani and his supporters will say "hey, we didn't get the help we needed from the state level. If we had, everything would have worked perfectly."@univee2 yep. Pivot to bitching about something else nyc will see a demise similar to San Fran. Sad
My two biggest beefs with Fetterman right now:
1. You have to wear a suit and tie in the Capitol building. It's a sign of respect.
2. You've got to ditch the goatee and go with the 'stache. It's such a no brainer I cringe at who must be advising him.

I shop at Walmart and Costco almost weekly. Nothing we buy has really gone up in price since Trump came back including coffee and toys. You can argue they haven't gone down much sure. And nothing the Dems will do will lower prices. If they were fully in charge they would be printing more money and sending out inflation reduction checks to everyone like Hochul did in NY. That would be great for inflation!

Not a buyer of meat, I see. If you were, you'd know meat has absolutely gone up whether it's ground beef, chicken, pork, steak ect.
@dbmhoosier this is reality for pubs too. Dem voters in the biggest city in America voted on cost of living. Trump promised to bring down prices. His policies are only making everyday goods more expensive. Pubs better pivot to prices too
How have his policies made anything more expensive? Please don't say tariffs. I can't think of anything I buy that has become more expensive since he took office. Things like gas and eggs have gotten cheaper.
To lower prices you must increase energy production. That means more drilling, leases, etc. Things Dems are vehemently against. And you must speed up deportations of illegals. Less people means less demand for housing and lower prices. There's not much else that can be done. Don't go on any stupid spending spree obviously.
Dems have zero solutions for this.
I have seen some sites putting on tariff charges at checkout of around $30. Other places have hidden the cost of tariffs by increasing the price of goods. Being ignorant of how tariffs work doesn't mean it isn't effecting you.
Oil and natural gas production increased significantly under Obama and were at record highs under Biden. Your misconception that energy production reduces under dems seems pretty par for the course.
You guys sound exactly like overwrought libs with their Hitler comparisons.
Nah, in order for it to be the same we'd have to be comparing him to Bin Laden (and losing our collective shit in the streets at some "No Sultans" march).
A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"
@spartans9312 I am pretty sure Trump ran with never heard of it.
If I were a candidate I would say that I support the items I am running on. I am not responsible for anything anyone else says or does.
@mcm666 they literally measure inflation. If we didn't have tariffs, inflation would still be just as high. People are pissed off because of the compounding impacts of annually inflation that we have had for the past 5 years now. They blame it on Trump (tariffs) because of their political bias or ignorance. Most cases, both.
@hurryinghoosiers beahahaha Biden took over 200 actions that gave rise to a historic gas spike dummy. No one buys your view propaganda. Go away. Leave. Adults are talking.
@snarlcakes inflation doesn’t include energy groceries etc. what’s more many companies front loaded. Push inflation is real. I’m visiting it upon customers. If you want a nice understanding of the business side read about the plaintiff’s toy business in the case before the S.Ct.
@mcm666 where am I getting more money from to buy your increased prices? The answer is I won't or from less consumption of other goods and services. Please, one time explain where the new money is coming from?
