@ohio-guy so my guess is that if it’s like other crimes probably 90 percent of the people voting illegally are never caught. Dems want to preserve that
How many illegals are there in the US?
Good God, you're dumb.
Straight forward question, will you answer it?
Wouldn't arrests of people who voted illegally prove that we don't have secure voting practices?
Given that their votes don't count after they're arrested, it might actually prove the opposite.
No it wouldn't. Those votes were already counted and the election is over.
You're smarter than that argument.
No, he’s not.

Believe it or not, I actually know someone who was arrested for voter fraud. Sister Marge Kloos taught where I went to college.
I know for a fact the vote she submitted was thrown out. The system isn't perfect, but I think it does a good job of catching illegal votes. Maybe there are votes that are counted after the fact that shouldn't be, but again that number if very likely so inconsequential it's not worth throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Straight forward question, will you answer it?
It has nothing to do with the topic at hand, unless you can prove that non-citizens are voting en masse.
@ohio-guy that’s the question isn’t it. But when the public is for stronger measures and the voters want strong measures and the Dem party is against it I think we all know why. Dems being Dems….if it were inconsequential they’d be for stronger measures
All the more reason to have secure voting practices.
Wouldn't the fact that Trump failed in pressuring Raffensberger prove that we have - or had - secure voting practices?
Recall too that Trump started with the "this election is/will be rife with fraud" bullshit months before the 2024 presidential election. Of course, when he won, the fraud talk immediately stopped.
He's utterly full of shit, all day, every day, and his constant sowing of doubt about election integrity is causing incalculable harm. This has been a trainwreck of a presidency, and he's a trainwreck of a "man."
"He has no principles. None." - Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, DJT's sister.
I don’t care that Trump and his team have been ineffective at finding evidence or proving that there has been fraud. Can you elaborate on what type of indisputable evidence would exist if widespread fraud occurred?
I don’t care that many of you believe or hope that there has not been nor will ever be enough fraud to sway an election.
It is a fact that there has been voting fraud in prior elections. It’s documented. By both sides.
The only way to ensure that it won’t happen is to put preventative measures in place. Confirming you are a US citizen & eligible to vote is not unreasonable. Securing voter rolls to ensure only eligible voters are on them is not unreasonable.
The only people that preventative measures hurt are the people that would commit the fraud or benefit from it. It really is that simple. There are dozens of things that a valid ID are needed for, voting should be one of them. It has nothing to do with Trump. It has everything to do with the absence of trust due to the fraud that Democrats & have allowed & even condoned & foreign adversaries have perpetrated against us . Or do you contend that fraud is not an issue in other government programs?
I know I’m wasting my time, but this can be boiled down to a couple of simple questions.
Do Democrats advocate up to date, accurate voter rolls filled only with eligible voters? No.
Are Democrats willing to accept voting fraud regardless of its volume? Yes.
This is indisputable.
The only way to prove most of the fraud is with a signature check. But Democrats vehemently oppose that as somehow an invasion of privacy. Keep in mind these are the same people that just a few years ago said we needed to show our personal health records just to enter a restaurant.
Everything you said is true. The only people opposing voter ID and an end to mail in balloting are those who want to commit fraud.
@hooky As much as I dislike HRC, she never claimed to lose due to fraud. Her bitch was about Comey reopening the documents case a couple weeks before the election and the fact that Russia was trying to influence the election in favor of Trump. She conceded the election to Trump. Trump did not concede in 2020. He didn’t even go to the inauguration - the first time that’s happened in our history.
@aloha-hoosier oh good lord the Dems literally didn’t even let their party vote last election. Your Trump obsession. Your hegseth obsession. Are beyond bizarre. The most entertaining part of your exchange with Brad was letting you see the difference between 25 years of litigating and 25 years of military. He dragged you around like an emotional little kindergarten kid in that thread.
words mean things. Citations. Argument. You have the brain power for what you did. Not an ounce more.
That was unbelievably stupid. I knew what I was talking about and Brad didn’t. It’s that simple.@aloha-hoosier oh good lord the Dems literally didn’t even let their party vote last election. @aloha-hoosier no. You resorted to “your friends.” Brad provided citation after citation. Your unfit bs is just that. The last guy opened the border to god knows who and was too gone to even stand trial and you have the temerity to be obsessed with trump. It’s because you’re overly emotional and frankly not very bright. You went into the right field private. Carry on.
