Anyone but Trump is thwarting whatever info the intelligence community has on Epstein from seeing the light of day.
In their eyes, Trump is the only person who ever visited Epstein Island, flew on his plane and was a close friend of his for a better part of a couple decades who is completely absolved of even the remote possibility that he might've done anything wrong with Epstein.
It's been explained Epstein WAS his friend and then kicked out of Mar a Lago. That's never been denied. He's also flown on his plane, but not to the island. That's also never been denied.
Trump could have any female any where. Why would he have to fly to pedo island to get his kicks?
Actually, I don't think there has ever been a "Client List." I think it was part of a silly conspiracy theory that was entirely cooked up in MAGA World and believed without any evidence at all by MAGA World. I think most of the facts come out at Maxwell's trial, including the flight logs and testimony as to who was possibly involved. There was no evidence that Trump or Clinton was involved in any wrongdoing.
However, the idea that Bondi and Patel are now covering up Trump's involvement has just as much supporting evidence as the original MAGA World conspiracy theory. The President also said he was never on Epstein's plane at all though the logs and the pilot's testimony show he was on the plane seven times. The President saying he was never on the plane at all supports this new conspiracy theory (which, by the way, I don't personally believe). Why would he lie, other than the fact that he reflexively lies a lot.

Many people have thought this was a Mossad operation for years. Dershowitz admitted that it was the Rothschild family who introduced him to Epstein and they obviously have deep ties to Israel. It's also well known that Epstein was very tight with several high ranking Israeli officials.

How would she know it was on her desk unless she saw it or someone else saw it and told her it was on the list? Either way, someone saw a list. Unless of course she is lying, which would be a distinct possibility. The most likely solution is that she forgot she said what she said and now has to come out to say "yeah, it doesn't exist".
I would hope that we would all want to find out who was involved in this stuff.
But we have gone from:
1. there are thousands of videos to "we can't find the videos";
2. Sorry, the jail video of epstein killing himself was accidently deleted;
