@aloha-hoosier you may dislike the party leadership and I can see why. However, you can look across aisle and see the pure insanity that is brewing and will be the main stream soon. You can’t leave now.

No worries, the Dem Party is absolutely not for me, even more so as the insane shit grows. MAGA culture is not for me either. It’s not a good time politically.

Didn't you vote for Biden?

Technically I voted against Trump and Biden’s reputation was that he was a moderate and the expectation was he’d only serve one term. It was really a throwaway vote. There was no chance Trump was losing Ohio.

I'll never understand how someone can throw away their vote on something that they claim to diametrically oppose. Why wouldn't you vote for a 3rd party, write someone in, or withhold it entirely rather than giving it to someone like that if you're truly a conservative?

Legislation codifying Roe v Wade

Public funded Health Insurance

Climate Change with Net Zero Emissions by 2050

Adding Transgender language to the 64 Civil Rights Act

All the past racist language and associations in his past

The plagiarism in his past

Ukraine and all those lies associated with it

Just the sheer amount of dishonesty in his past is troubling.

I voted third party in 2016 as I couldn't vote for HRC or Trump. I voted Biden in 2020 because I was convinced Trump was unfit for office and felt Biden was a moderate one-termer. Turned out to be more liberal than I like, but it is what it is.  I wrote in a vote in 2024 because Trump was even more unfit for office and I couldn't vote for Harris. It's pretty darn simple and I shouldn't have to explain this again, but I think Trump is completely unfit for the office, and he wasn't really even a Republican. Did you know he's changed his party registration at least four times and twice it was to Democrat? The man shouldn't even be allowed to visit the Oval Office, let alone occupy it.

Most of those things you listed are false, didn't happen and Biden didn't run on it, or irrelevant. The fact is I didn't have any part to play in putting Trump in office, and actually not Biden either because there was no doubt Trump would win Ohio, and that's all good for my conscious.

@aloha-hoosier you want a list of what Biden did?  Worst president in history.  And literally unfit for office

None of it is false, it all happened, much of it was what he ran on, relevance is subjective.

AHHH, Since Climate warming/ cooling/ staying abnormally stable/ "well there is something about climate"  BS totally failed.... It's now Data Centers..

When are we going to turn off the Effin noise that we seem to always give them a platform for? Good God people!

@spartans9312

overnor Josh Shapiro

“@GovernorShapiro
BREAKING: I just signed an Executive Order implementing the strictest standards in the nation for AI data centers — because I will not allow Pennsylvanians to be bullied by greedy developers and bulldozed by the lawyers working for these big tech companies.”

I counted Shapiro as one of the reasonable and sensible Democrats who could be a counterweight to the total nut jobs the Democrats have nominated for Congress.  Shapiro is a moron.  Data Centers provide a lot of assessed valuation with little employee burdens, exactly the kind of tax base local government and schools desperately need.

Note to Shapiro:  If you wanna limit data centers, figure out a way to not create so damn much data and how to get rid of decades- old data that nobody uses.

Turns out you made a huge mistake.  Had Trump won in 2020, the USA and world  would be much better off.  If Trump had won, no Ukraine war, unlikely 10/7 happens, Inflation Reduction Act economic and fiscal wreckage doesn’t happen, vaccine mandates and purges don’t happen, border bullshit doesn’t happen, and probably out-of-control urban crime doesn’t happen.  Avoiding  MAGA culture is a mindless and meaningless word  used to support bad democrats policies.

Looks like the Chicoms are playing Shapiro and others for suckers.  When the Russians nurtured the anti- fracking hysteria of 10-20 years ago, they established a game plan that the Chinese could now be using for data centers and the Iranians used to foment anti-Israel hate.

. . . And Trump would now be out of office and we’d be closer to transitioning away from him.

Correct.  In the last several months he has passed his “sell by” date.  I hope Rubio sticks around, I sense tension there.
