Carry on. Delicious bean soup. Shrimp cocktail excellent. steaks yikes. Not good
Yeah that was my experience last time I ate there as well. I didn't chime in when you were originally asking because historically I've always had great meals there and thought maybe they just had an off night. Most of the food was good to great. The steak was just ok. The service is what bothered me the most though. It seemed rushed. It used to be a dinning experience. Now it just seems like they rush everyone through so they can turn tables. It's become sort of "touristy".
For those that don’t know, Texas Roadhouse originated in Clarksville, Indiana.
@aloha-hoosier I did not know that. We were drunk as fck. Tailgated. Football game. Pounded drinks all day. Then to walk out at ten at night and say that meal sucked it had to be bad
This is why Fogo exists. If I am going to pay those prices for meat, I am going to where they bring out as much as I want. Otherwise Longhorn, Outback, or Roadhouse. My Roadhouse has been pretty hit or miss lately.
@arthur-dent I hear ya. And maybe it was homecoming maybe it was a bad night. Maybe they are living off rep. But our crew won’t be back

Del Frisco's. And get the creamed spinach.
So, no run-ins with grease truck drivers?@aloha-hoosier I did not know that. We were drunk as fck. Tailgated. Football game. Pounded drinks all day. Then to walk out at ten at night and say that meal sucked it had to be bad

@bulk-vh I wanted to see the alley and even said so but no one else gave a shit. One of our buddy’s was staying at the intercontinental and we walked from there to st Elmo’s. I will say downtown Indy blows downtown Stl away
Intercontinental has a very cool rooftop bar. Of course, the weather was not conducive.@bulk-vh I wanted to see the alley and even said so but no one else gave a shit. @mcm666 You were at homecoming? How long did you stay at game? Those clouds were for real!
@bulk-vh yeah that’s what we should have avoided. Started early at Cortez’s house. Tailgate. Pounded beers in the stadium. Then manhattan’s at st Elmo’s. Then bourbon and tequila at the bar there at intercontinental (inside bar was pissing down rain). Downtown Indy much better than here.
@zeke4ahs we split at halftime. 5 minutes from suv got soaked
