I'm sure this will reinstill public trust in elected officials.
If you remember, she had previously funneled campaign donations to Tim's "consulting" business. Now, he suddenly claims to run a VC firm with $60B of AUM, despite being a SUNY Albany alum?
Yay, more fake outrage.
Terrorist sympathizer? I didn't realize she supported Trump 😉

and a paltry valuation just two years ago. The truth is these offices have nothing to do with public service. They’re branding and investment opportunities to create wealth for themselves
Odds her husband's company is benefitting from a combination of insider info and access to halls of power and shaping/commenting on policy?I'm sure this will reinstill public trust in elected officials.

And then you have the gaslighting partisans (as seen here) who say "nothing to see here" while gnashing their teeth about the same things from politicians on the other side of the aisle. **Sigh**

We all should find one poster from here who we could prop up to run for federal office. Doesn't matter if it's a Republican or Democrat. We all serve as defacto campaign managers and staff. We write speeches and campaign promises that say all the right things, but we all are really just on the look out for those branding and investment opportunities you mention. We all make the Pelosi family look like amateurs and split the profit on the backend.
I nominate you as the face of this operation. I think you could win in Missouri with a strong-on-crime approach we'd make bank on all the private law enforcement contractors.

Yet another reason why they'll never, ever ban members of Congress from trading stocks. Or instituting term limits. Not lifting a finger to do anything about either of those issues is proof that when they believe in something strongly enough, our politicians can reach across the aisle to work together to make things happen - or not happen.
@ohio-guy lol I’m handsome and an incredible public speaker. Unfortunately a history of philandering failed businesses and a million miles of broken road behind me would probably be an impediment

Maybe we should skip Congress and just push you out into the next presidential primaries. As long as you don't have any connection to Jeffrey Epstein, you're golden.

Bingo. Power matters.
As long as you don’t have any connection to Jeffrey Epstein, you’re golden.
Who says that's a bad thing?
Very coincidental... I'm sure
Congress is likely going to vote on legislation about this in the next few months. Hawley has been pushing it for years now.
