Zionsville is a small town north of Indy, like Carmel. Used to have a reputation of being uber wealthy. Back in the 60s it had the only Rolls Royce dealership in the state.

I'd like to hear the story on the long-gone Bloomington "Waffle House", which was really more like an old school IHOP without the blue A frame. Surely it must have been an independent operation that had just established itself with the Waffle House name, before the Southern franchise established restaurants up here? I'd pull all-nighters there back the day during A-Core.
In Texas, we dug the all-nighter, traditional diner Waffle Houses as well because they used to feature a $2.99 all-you-can-eat...perfect for late nights after watching bands. The menu was a bit more expansive then.
Similarly, Stoll...what do you know about the Grandy's franchises that were scattered throughout SE Indiana, but now all seem to have closed up (actually since we moved up here in 2017)? Shocked me back in 2018 when we were headed down to Holiday World for the first time to see a legit Texas Grandy's in Loogootee or Jasper...or maybe both?
How the hell did they get up here? Some Texas guy that moved up to SE Indiana and started franchises? They had to have been around since the 80's/90's?
There's a couple Grandy's outside of Texas in OK still, looks like one in Georgia. The one in Henderson, KY just closed down. I think it was the last one left in the SE Indiana area.
