City grocers etc. difficult to implement at a muny level because of our system but I don’t think being able to define it is as important as a broad recognition than it’s materially different than our system of capitalism and that 2/3 of Dems even with just a broad sense like it.
To me that's communism not socialism. In my eyes, socialism can coexist with capitalism in a blended economic model that guarantees certain services to our citizenry (and i used that word intentionally).
Do I want state run grocery stores? No.
Do I want single payor health insurance? Yes.
Am I a socialist? You decide.

We need a drastically reduced federal government. Then we can talk about services at the state and local level. The tax structure in this country is backwards.

Meanwhile, nearly every serious domestic problem this country faces is a direct result of Dem policies. Crime, immigration, fraud, education failures, & on & on.
Trump really does suck, but he could be Pres for another 3 terms & not do the damage that elected Dems have done over the past decade. Crazy that a debacle of a foreign war isn’t even in the top 4-5 threats we face as a nation.
