I'll be damned. I stand corrected. Didn't realize they rolled it into DHS when that department was created post-911.
Prediction - CNN will decry the violence caused by Republican policies and gun laws, and caution the left against making this latest mental defective a hero ala Luigi Mangione, and call for cutting ICE funding and funding of all policies that justifiably radicalize "the citizenry" against the Trump administration, since, otherwise, democracy is at risk, except in Virginia where justifiable gerrymandering has protected democracy against the GOP hordes.
Trump will decry the failure of the Dems and the anti-spending Pubs in Congress to fully fund ICE and all other federal policies agencies, and probably say something like "the press got a taste of its own medicine having to hide from a gunman radicalized by their fake news."
