I’ve wondered for weeks now why would a lawyer, and a serious politician, even imagine firing two bullets into the head of a political opponent and imagine his wife watching their kids die? We have a serious politician not only who imagined that, and write it in social media, his comrades in ideology don’t condemn it in the most serious way. They accept that. Why? No apology can mitigate the depravity in that guys mind.
I lived more than 8 decades and I can honestly say I’ve never even thought like that let alone say it. If this is now excused or even acceptable to a younger generation, we are in trouble.

Also, it's almost impossible to discern what's up from down because you're constantly inundated with information and it's taken out of context.
The majority of people "outraged" by Young Republicans don't even know about AG from Virginia's private chats and vice versa. I thought the AG was worse, but I don't think the dude really wants little kids to die. I think he was making a disgusting joke, which to be fair is much easier to do online.

I've seen Aloha post twice now about the Young Republicans and not once about the Virginia AG. There is an answer in there if you look closely. The algorithm's and MSM feed us what we want to eat, but more importantly it shows we actually get it directionally right. I guarantee Politico had far fewer articles and social media posts about the AG story when it first broke, because they don't care, which is the appropriate response and what we're doing anyways, well at least half of the time. The AG is still on the ballot.
