Biden is history. Trump, the sitting president, is an abomination. He tried to unlawfully overturn an election he lost, something that was previously unthinkable in the nearly 250 years of the country's existence. His attacks on democracy and the rule of law preceded his egregious misconduct related to the 2020 election, and they've continued unabated since.

159 Air Force Recruits Sick After Former Fox News Host, Pete Hegseth, Scraps Flu Vaccine Mandate
A flu outbreak has swept through Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, sickening more than 150 recruits in basic training, just weeks after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ended the military's mandatory flu vaccination policy.
Hegseth framed the rollback as a matter of personal freedom, telling servicemembers in an April video that the Pentagon was "seizing this moment to discard any absurd overreaching mandates" and insisting that bodily autonomy was non negotiable for troops.
The result became clear within weeks. With vaccination no longer required, only about 40 percent of recruits at Lackland chose to get the shot. Air Force officials confirmed that at least 159 recruits have since fallen ill.
Lackland's setup made the outbreak almost inevitable. Recruits live in shared dormitories, eat together, and train in close quarters, the exact conditions experts have long warned are vulnerable to fast moving airborne illness without strong baseline immunity.
The base has also been mourning the loss of recruit Keon McDaniel, who died on June 16 after a medical emergency. Officials have not confirmed whether his death is connected to the outbreak, and the cause remains under investigation.
In response to the spread, Air Force officials have now ordered recruits at Lackland to get vaccinated against the flu as part of containment efforts, walking the policy back in practice even as it remains officially optional.
It is the kind of basic public health lesson that should not need relearning. When leadership treats proven medical guidance as optional, the people who pay the price are the young recruits standing in formation, not the officials who made the call from a podium.
