That was never in question (at least to me).

guy has been garbage this term

Not at all.

  • Immigration and the border
  • Greenland
  • Domestic and foreign factory investments
  • Tax cuts
  • Drug trafficking
  • Repeal of the endangerment finding
  • Venezuela
  •  violent crime reduction

These are all enduring positive accomplishments that will be felt for years to come.  Change in congressional leadership won’t change these things.  While the jury is still out on Iran, there are other things that  could turn out very well.  Yeah, some Trump’s behavior is impulsive, stupid and can fairly be called garbage.  But most of that is of little long term effect.

Looks like the Democrats are gonna hold congress for the next two years.  But they will do so on a mandate of irrelevant bullshit that doesn't promise anything more than investigations, accountability and impeachments.  This will be great performative politics, generate a lot of news and flag-waving, but wont  mean anything once Trump leaves the stage.  The daylight between reasonable moderate democrats and the Democratic socialist crazies shrinks by the day.  The democrats are their own worst enemy.

You can put the leading Republicans on a dart board and you will  hit a good strong 2028 candidate.  You can’t do that with the leading democrats.

Sit back and enjoy the show.

I often feel that CoH is playing the role of Charlie Sheen's therapist on two and a half men, and the water cooler is Charlie. Some times, McM is Rose.

Also, @unclemark it's not too bad so far, but you forgot to specify this thread should be sans foodfighting, namecalling, electioneering, etc.

That's what our elected Mods are for.

Typical Dim. Blow on a fire and then blame the fire dept. "At all cost"!

KOmmie channel showing Dems leading in several FL House races with substantial votes in.

3 or 4 in districts the Pubs redrew to win.

The redistricting may end up really fking the GOP.

Looks like she might just barely pull it out, but she should have been one of the safest of the redrawn districts. Other Florida Repubs should be sweating.
