Iowa looking ugly for Republicans. Florida a bit better.
Florida was never in doubt
Trump won Texas by a bigger margin than Florida in 2024 and it looks ugly for Republicans there although Abbott will probably hold on barely. Florida is basically the Alamo for MAGA and will still be a lot closer than it has any right to be.
1. You said Dems were going to win Florida
then
2. You said it’s looking better
now
3. You are wondering how much the winning margin will be
Florida was never in doubt. It’s R +7.5 right now

Where did I ever say Dems would win Florida? I said it would be close and it will. Moody was always going to win by about 5 and I predicted Donalds by 1.
I agree…Donalds will win

Don't be so overconfident. Democrats usually storm the polls once they get off work 🙂
Just a reminder: everything you read so far today that seems to shed insight on what's going on is bullshit. There is nothing useful to be gained from anecdotal election day stories (excepting maybe the ones about broken machines and other things that might affect turnout). As far as any of us know, the race is still in the same boat it was when the last batch of polls were published this morning.
First real news is at 6:00 tonight. First important news is at 7:00.
Also, @unclemark it's not too bad so far, but you forgot to specify this thread should be sans foodfighting, namecalling, electioneering, etc.

True. I remember this day in 2012 when many thought Mitt Romney was about to be President.

That's what our elected Mods are for.

Well thank God it's election day.

Is it too soon to call for impeachment? Also, @unclemark it's not too bad so far, but you forgot to specify this thread should be sans foodfighting, namecalling, electioneering, etc.

Polls have closed in most of Indiana and Kentucky

F no. this is peegs level mods. not psycho buzz but when mike didn't give a shit. we're in good shape.
Looking pretty bad for Republicans. Maybe slightly worse than predicted. Donalds could be in trouble.
Anyone want to crystal ball some things, Indiana 3rd and 5th are counting fast. Dems lead 60/40 in both early. No way that holds in the 3rd, but it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility in a huge blue wave that the 5th could be vulnerable. At any rate, how close these races are, even with GOP victories, could signal what direction tonight is going.
