@ohio-guy it's not much more nuanced.

ST. LOUIS — 25,000 cases dismissed.

2,735 cases dismissed by judges for failure to prosecute.

Final report in former St. Louis circuit attorney investigation | ksdk.com

Soros at work.  this current iteration of the dem party has to be the dumbest collection of politicians and supporters in american history.  hence even trump got reelected

Whatever do you mean?  Looks like a liberal paradise.

@dbmhoosier as crazy as it may sound the dem party does the most damage at the local levels.  the idea of having a progressive president ON TOP of the blue run dem cities is unfathomable

I’m not really sure I have a side here, other than being against the idea that black people are inherently criminals.

FWIW, I'm not reading it as they think black people are inherently criminals.  What I'm reading is the thought that criminals are inherently black.  Further, the thought that criminality is nurture, not nature.

@receipt-keeper agreed. Nurture. Culture. Not nature.

Almost 90% of black men in Baltimore have been arrested at least once.  Maybe things have improved but it isn’t saying much.

So you have that much in common with them, don't you? (FWIW, so do I.)

What do you make of the data that show black  Haitian immigrants do better in terms of jobs, incomes, and social issues in the U.S. than native Blacks?  Same for minority Latinos and Asians.  I have my doubts about the present day actual  impacts of historic deprivations.

This is easy. Immigrants do better as a whole than comparable natives, simply because the vast majority of immigrants are only here because they have the drive and desire to make something better of themselves. It's not an equal comparison. Compare U.S. blacks to the blacks who stay behind in Haiti. Then what do you get?

Bullshit.  They are here for the goody bags.  They aren't here to work or make something better of themselves.  Cut off the bennies and see how many come.

@dbmhoosier depends how they got here son. Hiking that Darian gap or whatever it’s called with two kids then riding on top of a train all night freezing ain’t no joke.  That’s some initiative.  Some days I sit in my luxury car with Starbucks after a wonderful night of rest and close my eyes and ask god to please give me the strength I need to be able to drive to rolla

@mrhighlife not really the point.  the safest state in america is vermont.  it's 1 percent black.  any city that is 98 percent white will be safe.  the question and the issue is how do mayors and leaders in cities with large black populations govern.  what is their rhetoric etc.  you take the 25 most dangerous cities in america and all but one or two will have a dem mayor.  that's not a coincidence.

the question is in a city with a large black population who would be a better leader.  dem or black.  if it's dems playing the victim card, soros das, defund, bail projects, we clearly know the answer

And all that progressivism does is result in more blacks being killed by other blacks vs if they had a Republican Mayor, a Republican DA, etc.  Yet they keep voting Democrat.  I'll never understand it.
