Kash Patel is fully expecting to be fired. He thought he was fired when he was having trouble logging into his work account. If the reports that his drinking is out of control are true, he most definitely should be fired immediately.

Kash Patel is fully expecting to be fired. He thought he was fired when he was having trouble logging into his work account. If the reports that his drinking is out of control are true, he most definitely should be fired immediately.
I'm surprised $$ Patel survived the Olympics fiasco. His frat-boy beer chugging was a terrible look for an FBI director, and he reportedly has used a government jet for personal travel, including visits to a girlfriend and a golf trip to Scotland.
Hegseth is another one. Wow. The Signalgate scandal. Those press conferences. Something is off with that guy. Here's what someone once wrote to him, in an email: "You are an abuser of women – that is the ugly truth and I have no respect for any man that belittles, lies, cheats, sleeps around, and uses women for his own power and ego. You are that man (and have been for years) and .... it pains me and embarrasses me to say that, but it is the sad, sad truth . . . Get some help and take an honest look at yourself." The author of the email? His mom. (She has since retracted it, said it was written "in anger, with emotion," while he was going through a divorce with his second wife, and isn't true). True or false, though, when your mom (your MOM) talks that way about you, you've got a problem.
Hegseth barely survived the confirmation process. Three Republicans said no, the vote was deadlocked 50-50, and Vance had to step in with the tiebreaker.
Gotta think the odds are low for Hegseth to make it to the end of Trump's term.
@big-ryan I had forgotten about that email his mom sent him. It's wild how so many of these one-offs seemingly all the current cabinet has would have been career ending in a pre-Trump world.
To be totally honest, I don't think anyone in the current administration comes out of this unscathed. Whether they know it or not, tying their future to Trump will eventually sink their political careers. How many people from his first administration are taken seriously now? I wouldn't be surprised to see JD Vance eventually seeing the writing on the wall within a year or so after the midterms and start to beat the 25th amendment drum. He's spineless and has no moral or ethical compass and will say anything to be close to the seat of power. It wouldn't totally surprise me to hear him say that he feels that he actually was right when he compared Trump to Hitler.

I hope he actually does pick a fight that has already been won and someone or a place like Dominion sues him to high heaven. He'll turn on Trump too when Trump fires him and won't return his calls for help with legal bills. I think it'll be 50/50 on whether or not Trump would pardon him, especially if he predictably doesn't follow through on his promise to arrest someone tied to 2020 election fraud.

It will be interesting if he takes anything to court or if this just is bluster to drum up support for Trump's voter suppression bill.
