Can say the same thing about alumni or season ticket holders sit on their hands all game.

Why would they show up to watch mediocre teams while sitting in the last row of the balcony?
These seats will likely always be full now and actually have some energy in them instead of half full of ppl taking a nap.

if my memory does not fail me , 1988-91 we got 8 games. 4 lower 4 balcony.
@spartans9312 Absurd. Are you serious? Move more of them closer to the floor, like nearly every other school in the world does. One of the reasons it feels like our students don't show up... is because we have one of, if not the biggest basketball student section in the country. And way too many of those seats, are in an awful location. They'll fill THESE seats, they always have... even through all these recent years where the team didn't really give them a huge reason to. There are plenty of other great seats for the alumni, its not like really any of them are going to get pushed up to the balcony.
@iunorth I wouldn't be so sure about none of the general public moving to the balcony. I'd love to see an updated seating chart, because from the video it looks like the students are staying in those lower bowl seats as well, so it may be the balcony for some, but again I haven't seen an updated seating chart
