@arioznahoosier4554 Believe our punter, Billy Gowers, turned 30 in June!

He's a Jim 'Frosty' Miller Medal winner to boot!

Indiana punter Billy Gowers is 30 years old (born June 10, 1996)

The old saying men playing with boys has actually finally happened. Some freshman are still 17 in the fall.  When I was 17  age 30 seemed old and now its a guy on your team. Crazy.

There's a 47 year old guy out here in the Bay area playing DE for San Jose City College.  Who cares? As long as they haven't been playing professional football and haven't used up their previous 5 years in college, I say let them play.  A HS buddy played as an 18 year old freshman with a senior who was 27 after serving in the army.  That was in the 80s, so it's not like this is a new phenomenon.

Yes thats fine as long as the NCAA quits the nonsense about these being student athletes and having a five year rule. It is professional sports and the NCAA just needs to get out of the way and let the free for all continue these are not students and its not about school imo. It is professional sports plain and simple it just happens to have a band and cheerleaders

I don't see why any of what you said needs to be the case at all.

5 year rule, salary cap, some academic requirements. Nothing wrong with a few things to make it different, more associated with a school, and better than just NFL-lite.
