Always hard to get any kind of real good read this early but nice to see the boys on the court this early

@cmanahan Glad to hear he looks good. He has been very enthusiastic about coming and backing the team last year on social media.

@busdrivere It's July basketball, but two things were very clear. 1) This team physically looks like a Big Ten team and 2) They have more quality depth

@joe_hoopsier Yeah, who the F took all the 3s? Love to see a box score. I heard both Moody and Harris? (Duke transfer) were 3-7. So if 2 of our better backcourt guys and our best shooter put up 14 3's who took the other 26? Think I saw that both the other freshmen had 3s but jeez, was burton 1-12 or something?

@thehoosierhuddle Mustaf and/or Sokolov injured?  See anything, or hear anything on that?

@iunorth I thought per Osterman last week, that Sokolov still hadn't made it to Btown. He mentioned Mustaf being out, but believe he called it precautionary. Hopefully they put a boot on him. I'd hate to see us break our 15+ year streak!

@thehoosierhuddle Thanks, that's 40 3 pt attempts. Sounds like the freshmen overall were impressive, and that Moody was even better than that!

@iunorth Sokolov was dressed in the warmups with no visible injury, so I am not sure. Nothing was said about Mustaf either by DeVries post-game.

Sammy and/or Campbell?... Any thoughts on the quality of the opponent last night?  D3 level, Low D1 level, MAC level... in terms of sizes, speed, skill, etc...

Its amazing what just knowing they're playing does for my vibe and interest level.  Sounds like frosh were fairly impactful, which would be great if that continues through the year in any form.  It'll be nice to see what Mustaf brings to the table.

Just Box score watching... I LOVE Burton's line... If we get an efficient, quiet, 15 and 6 out of him... Or even if he has that mindset...that'll raise our ceiling dramatically, in my opinion.  Obviously doing that, and playing that way, in this game isn't the same as Kentucky at Lucas Oil, or at Mackey... but its good to see no matter what.
