The defense has really tightened up, but the rebounding hasn't been great. Devries called a timeout.

Aiden Sherrell looks the part. He is an eraser on defense. He is confident shooting the three ball and can finish around the rim. He has 14 points to lead all scorers. 

All three freshmen have played and shown flashes. Manhertz has 2 3;s and 8 points. PAM has played well on defense and showed great instincts reading plays. Karlava has made a couple nice plays and has 3 points.

USA is 17-33 from the field, 5-18 from 3pt 7-10 FT

Halftime thoughts:

Defense came out weak, but communicated much better by the end of the half. Sherrell is a legitimate stretch big man with 14 points. PAM has elite instincts and seems way too polished to be a freshman. 

Rebounding has been terrible, out-rebounded by 1 at half. 

The team has some major flaws, but it all seems very coachable. 

PAM is the MAN! Excellent defensive steal and a massive slam that brought the loudest cheer of the day

Sounds on par for an exhibition in July for a bunch of guys just playing together for first time. Glad we are getting extra practice and experiencing the travel to South America. It would be good to get your guys thoughts after say the UNC game to see if you can see some Improvement from tonight

The game has halted in pace, and it seems to me that it's because PAM is on the bench. Burton is also a late-game scorer, and it's showing.

USA looked ultimately better in the third quarter. Defensive intensity has amped up. Sisley got going. PAM is a HUGE crowd favorite.
