doesn’t matter, hopefully we are still on a high after the football team wins back to back championships!
@hoosiers94 If you are correct and DeVries is below-average or a bum or whatever nickname you have for him...what can anyone on this site do about it? He's not getting fired this offseason so beyond saying "I told you so", what do you get by being right? This is not antagonistic, I'm genuinely curious what you hope to get from posting that sentiment over and over in basically every thread on the basketball forum? I appreciate the interaction and participation, by the way, just wondering.

no different than the folks that continuously state we are good team or we have a good coach and all we need is to reload again. Or the folks who think players like Dorn or Connerway are great and Dorn will be even better next year as in the savior or the folks that think this staff is taking us anywhere else than where we have already been. I don't see you questioning their continual delusional ranting about the direction or how next year will be monumentally better than this year ... maybe when I start seeing more people calling it for what it is instead of their Pollyanna BS maybe I'll stop.
I never called him a bum I call him Doorknob
@ge-off Contractually, 2 Big 10 teams are required to play in the Crown. Not sure about the NIT. $$$ speaks and these tournaments need teams.
@thehoosierhuddle ….pass and start looking for talent that is 6’10” and taller with a pulse!
The ghost of Bobby Knight wouldn't have a chance with the talent DeVries has assembled. Not dumping on the kids but the team does not have the players to compete at a high level.
RMK would never have assembled such a shit show
I have seen this exact performance for literally a decade consistently.
Unsurprisingly, it's not getting any better.
As Cig said he thought after being kicked by Notre Dame - I need more dogs...
And that was to add to a great team.
We need an entire team of dogs.
Hate to say my hope is that Tucker will be gone, and that allows coach to open his eyes.
@iugradman that’s the big problem I see. Who would want to play for him or IU for the matter. If we aren’t giving them tons of cash ( normally not the players you want that are going for the money) winners most likely stay the hell away from IU.
@iugradman….With 3 different coaches….same results….literally a bubble team every year…you can’t make it up!
Sounds good to me. The staff needs to be hard at work improving the roster in the upcoming portal. Frustration for many is that there aren't many players on the current roster that are capable of competing at a high level.A team can indeed decline a Crown invite. In doing so, however, it would not be allowed to participate in the NIT.@ge-off Contractually, 2 Big 10 teams are required to play in the Crown.
