Down by 14 and we have 2 guys who can't hit the broad side of a barn on the floor at the same time. wtf
This team is like the movie Groundhog Day...same mistakes, same weak play, same dumb plays.
IU hiring a basketball coach is like Groundhog’s Day. Same results every time.
@cavanagh Even his screens are weak, often just an arm shimmy that should be called an illegal screen. It's like he's terrified of contact.
I wonder if the sunshine folks believe me now ... likely not , so we will just rinse and repeat for yet another year.
The ghost of Bobby Knight wouldn't have a chance with the talent DeVries has assembled. Not dumping on the kids but the team does not have the players to compete at a high level.
Other results gave IU a bit of hope but Indiana's on-court performance quickly removes any hope. 33-50, Ohio State shoots 67.9% and 8-13 from three as they obliterate the Hoosiers. The refs were not good but this was all about OSU doing WHATEVER they wanted against IU's "defense".
No worries. The usual 2nd Half magic coming.
@hoosiers94 If you are correct and DeVries is below-average or a bum or whatever nickname you have for him...what can anyone on this site do about it? He's not getting fired this offseason so beyond saying "I told you so", what do you get by being right? This is not antagonistic, I'm genuinely curious what you hope to get from posting that sentiment over and over in basically every thread on the basketball forum? I appreciate the interaction and participation, by the way, just wondering.
Explain to me how next season is going to be any better. What superior talent wants to join this shitshow? Does DeVries come across as a magnetic personality who can attract high quality players?
