I've seen better television direction at High School games. Peacock needs to step it up.

As was noted pregame, USC gets to the foul line a lot and we all know IU has a hard time defending without fouling...that has played out. The Trojans lead 43-37 and they have shot 17 FTs to IU's 4.

15:47 left in the game as we hit the Under 16 MTO. IU got back within one but USC has extended the lead back out to 6. 43-37. IU struggling to get much going on offense. #iubb

@gthomas hope you’re right and I’m wrong…but I’m getting the vibe that we might let this one get away.  USC has been missing a ton of shots, but they’re extending the lead.  Not good.

USC extends the lead out to 10 49-39 as IU takes a time out. Alexis and Bailey each have three fouls. IU is 4-10 from the floor and 1-6 from 3-pt range in the second half. This thing is starting to slip away.

Yup.  Here we go.  They start making shots and they’ll blow us out tonight.  They’re too long and athletic, and we’re not getting anything from Dorn or DeVries.  It’s gonna be one of those Iowa type games I bet.  Frustrating.  Hope I’m wrong.

Two major keys to an IU victory--hit threes and avoid fouls--have not come to fruition. Not much margin for error with this team.

IU down 14. This one may have slipped away. IU's offense has disappeared since the 5 minute mark of the 1st half.

Barkley made basically this point in the UK game. If you rely on the three, you can't foul and can't turn the ball over.

IU has crept back into this thing and the next four minutes may decided whether this comes to the wire or not. Wilkerson has 2 FTs coming to try and cut the lead to 6.

Dorn and DeVries missing fairly open looks.  And putting them on the line.  Thats the difference.  If Wilkerson hits both free throws, we’ll only be down 6.  Which is amazing with how poorly we’ve played.

Another pointless foul. But good job getting it back into it. Lets go!

USC extends the lead back to 10 with another FT coming. IU has battled, but Arenas has hit two dagger threes. One came on a push off and the other Tucker DeVries deflected his pass attempt back to him. 69-59 with 3:46 left.

If it ends how it looks like it will.  We blew another chance to beat a good team in a very winnable game.  These are the types of games that put you on the wrong side of the bubble.
