Good pick up! We bitch and moan about SOS, then when we get good games, bitch about location.

I get it- only really good home no con game is Mizzu- sucks to only get good home games in conf.

these big games, imo, are a step in the right direction and hopefully down the road, we end up getting a coupe at home. Still great for tourney resume and some entertaining games on national tv

Now all we need is Tom Crean in the building and it'll be the Wat Shot all over again!

@Gros-Louis I am not a fan of piling on these neutral-site games in one season. They have to be getting a huge bag to do so and if this was dictated by Cal not wanting to come to Bloomington, just don't play the game.

The Missouri game isn't listed on IU's site for the BBall schedule and it's just reported by Rothstien, but not confirmed 100% yet.

@ge-off It should be a fun game to watch. However, both things can be true. IU is really taking advantage of its local fans with these neutral-site games. I assume the payday to play these games is bigger than hosting some lesser games at SSAH. It just does not make sense to have all of these games away from Bloomington.

Playing one or two, but making both exhibitions, Syracuse, UK and now Arkansas all neutral sites is a little much

Away games build toughness.  If this is part of the reason I'm all for it.

Kansas, Arizona, Auburn all fit that criteria a few years back and we lost all of them.  In disastrous fashion, mostly. Didn't help our resume a bit.  We've had one?? marquee home game in the past 3 seasons, I think? Maybe.

I've considered dropping my season tickets more than ever for reasons just like this.

@hoosier-clarion These are not away games, though. Besides Kentucky, the crowds should all be pro-IU by 60% or more. You don't need 5 of them to figure out if your team is tough or not either.

@gros-louis are we counting South Carolina and Kansas State? If not, then IU hasn't had any since the 24-25 season. The last one came in 23-24 against Kansas.

@thehoosierhuddle there will be 5-10k people at this game.  Tuesday in nyc.  Will be able to hear the ball bounce in the garden.

@cavanagh Nah, that place will be packed. Huge Alumni base, plus you'll get some people who just want to go to a game at MSG. Maybe not sold out, but better than 1/3-2/3 full.

I don't like it either but we did get an extremely favorable conference schedule this year.  Maybe that's why?

Gotta win some of these.  In the past we seem to have done very poorly in these neutral site P5 matchups.

@dbmhoosier I think it’s simple. IU makes more money doing this. We’ll see if it ends up biting them in the rear end.
