Several 'are you doing anything different than last year' questions. Also, 73 'you knows' in 13 minutes of PC time. A 'you know' drinking game with him would not be survivable.

He's probably average + in intelligence. I think he's aware of the habit, because when he is really locked in he doesn't do it as much. When he's tired or bored he'll throw them out there right & left. Too much word salad. He'd be better off giving shorter, more hard-edged responses. Too much Mr. Nice Guy.
I can't believe I'd hear most coaches say we want to win but that's not the main purpose. Or however he put it when asked how he'd balance winning versus getting a lot of experience. Of course we're going to try to get everyone minutes! But I don't think that's what you say, even to your own guys. I have no way to know but I can't hear Coach Knight doing anything but jumping on a reporter about whether the objective was to win or play more guys. Even if Coach Knight's real objective was to play the bench a ton of minutes.
But the proper answer is - 'We are proud to be representing the United States, and the Indiana Hoosiers. We are going in it, to win it. Everybody will need to be ready to do their part.' Or that's one answer... There's a ton of ways to answer without sounded milquetoast as if you are afraid to announce you absolutely expect your guys to compete and win the whole damn thing. If they asked Prince-Alexander Moody he'd probably say we expect everyone to play but our goal is to win it. Never heard him say anything else in an interview.
OK, the above was unfair when I called coach soft! (edited that line...) He clearly says the goal is to win games, and said he wants to see how his guys respond to 6 games in 8 days. And good answer to Sammy on representing the country. (I had stopped just before that question earlier)
