This entire tournament has been one big middle finger to IU. Purdue and Michigan are on a collision course for the Final Four in Indy. Louisville and Kentucky both won a game. Illinois and Houston both look great.
A Final Four with Michigan, Purdue, Duke, and Houston is a nightmare scenario.

It’s not that difficult to add to the topic conversation or find a thread that’s relevant to what you have to say.
Look, I covered football since 2013. I get department mismanagement and have been very vocal about it, the same stuff doesn’t need to be said on every single thread. Hence the creation of this thread.

Each topic has its own points to be made and some certainly may intertwine but it doesn’t make comments incriminating IU any less valid or uninteresting as the same mindless positivity comments where there is clearly absolute failure.....UNLESS you yourself simply disagree. Then in that case, its trying to silence opposing positions.
You can state they are repeated claims but from my perspective, its the same annoying comments repeated over and over pretending the situation isn't on fire and there's nothing to see here as well. Opinions on whats annoying/repetitive is based purely on one's own personal perspective of the situation.

I would like a coach that doesn’t look overwhelmed and/or clueless on the sideline. Archie and Doorknob looked/look like a deer in headlights and Woodson would just stand there looking dumbfounded as his team was losing by 30.
Given the success a lot of first year coaches have had this season, DeVries has to be fired if he doesn’t comfortably make the tournament next year. He should need to win at least one game too.
Football success can only assuage fan displeasure with basketball’s mediocrity for so long.

It sucks that Dolson will never be held accountable for screwing up basketball because Cignetti pulled a Jimmy Chitwood. Georgia, Miami, Alabama, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and Ohio State all made the CFB playoff AND NCAA tournament.
If football drops back to 8-4 and basketball is still a coin flip to make the tournament, the fan anger will grow.
