Indiana knocked off WKU yesterday 38-0 to finish out the non-conference slate 3-0 and outscored opponents 145-16. We have our postgame analysis up on the site now.
Indiana will begin Big Ten play on Friday night against Northwestern. We will begin ramping up our coverage as well.
There a few things to look out for today with the national polls coming out at 1 and then 2pm.
Starting this week the Big Ten will put out availability reports for IU. The first one will come out Tuesday and there will be four in total before kickoff.

Thought of the Day
Is the overanalyzing of Josh Hoover warranted or overkill?

This thread is very useful. Thanks.
@tamman Glad it is. Thanks for checking it out

In regard to the “thought of the day”:
Depends on who’s doing it and how they’re doing it…
Every QB is an individual who responds to criticism and hard coaching in their own unique way…
For some, public shaming just doesn’t work, and they’ll go in the tank…, while for others it’s just the catalyst they need…
For our guy, I’d say keep the public shaming to a minimum while continuing the hard coaching out of the public eye (where most of it usually belongs)…
As far as criticism on here and elsewhere goes by the general fan well that’s the package he’s signed up for, for better or worse, and he has a lot of control over which way that goes…
Regarding the thought of the day - overanalyzing is an interesting word. It's very easy to do that after the season Fernando had. So, in a way, it's warranted in that vacuum.
However, the analysis going on right now is really poor and totally un-warranted. Hoover has been ELITE thus far. Sure, he missed a couple of throws, but which QB doesn't? By every efficiency metric, he's #1. Even by completion %, he's top 20 in the country. Hoover has been a fantastic addition to this team and is fully capable of winning a title (and winning the heisman).
So, to summarize, overanalyzing is warranted imo. But the actual analysis itself (read: criticism) he's receiving right now is not. I, like Cignetti said, am happy Hoover is on our team.

To your point....he's 5th in the country and 2nd in the BT in QBR:
1. Sayin 90.1
2. Hoover 89.4
3. Maiava 87.4
4. Houser 87.3
5. Browne 82.6
6. Chiles 75.6
7. Millivojevic 69.8
8. Becht 68.6
9. Colandrea 64.9
10. Moore 64.9
11. Washington 64.0
12. Brown 63.6
13. Joseph 62.4
14. Underwood 59.2
15. Lyndsey 51.7
16. Lamaleavia 50.1
17. Williams 50.0
18. Lonergan 30.3
No doubt Kelly gives some mass to tipping the scales. Unfortunately Marsh is the neutralizer. Also Kelly won't score 1 point. Also 14 points difference from Chiles to Hoover. Let's play.

Thought of the Day
After spending all summer complaining about not getting all eight home games, the IU students have left early. I’ll give them a pass because of the heat early, but if it continues, should they have their tickets revoked (and refunded) for the bigger games?

Love your thought of the day, Sammy. Thnx.
