The little QB from Vandy might have a crisis of confidence after the beating Mendoza is about to apply to the tide

This game will look a lot more like the SEC CCG than the B1G CCG. Bama won’t know what hit them. I watched several of their games this year, and they lack the physicality

Unless Ryan Williams remembers how to catch out of the blue, I can’t see this being close. They don’t have the horses on offense

Agreed.  Bama will struggle to score.

The bammers are so confident.  It's basically the same narrative we heard before the Ohio St game.  They forget that Nick Saban isn't their coach and seam to think that it's going to be a blowout on Bama's side.  I can't see why.  Use that as bulletin board material.  Maybe they seam to think that gauntlet of UGA, Mizzou, UT, and Vandy makes them the better team.  In the end, only 2 of those teams were any good.  Bama has issues running the ball.  Cig and Haines will come up with a scheme to limit their passing game while blitzing Simpson many times.  I'm hoping for an early pick six and a route of 21+.

@auburnhoosier - Right, "4 straight ranked wins".....Mizzou, no longer ranked.  Tennessee no longer ranked. They squeaked past Georgia, but then got smashed by them. They lost to Florida State and gave Oklahoma an unearned playoff spot by losing to them. Somehow, that is proof they are good but IU beating #2, #5, #21 (currently ranked teams and none at home) is not proof we are good?   I hope us smashing them gets them to realize, they're our little bro now.

We will have to play one hell of a game, long layoff, tough to be super sharp. I think this team has the right mindset though.

I'd rather be slightly rusty than beat up. We lost Daley but at least everybody else could rest their dings and injuries.

And then we should buy out Cig and move on from that terrible mistake of the huge extension.

They’re getting healthier.  One of their top DLinemen, that’s been out, is supposedly gonna be back for Rose Bowl.

IU is better than they are.  If we play well, shouldn’t matter.  But if them getting healthy gets them any where near the team they were when they won at Georgia, they could obviously beat IU.

IU should win.  But I’d bet it’ll be a really tough game.  Probably not as much scoring as most are assuming there will be. Both defenses are good.

I have said several times this year that our opponent hasnt played anyone like us, but we have played teams like them. Iowa and Penn State matched our physicality. Oregon and Ohio State threw top 5 talent composite, pure athleticism at us. People who havent watched this team dont know what they are in for. This is a physical team filled with NFL talent. Alabama can hype their dozen+ 5*s and myriad of 4*s, those boys aint played nobody! A week from now they find out what they are made of, it is a comfortable feeling knowing that under Cig & Co our team will always be the toughest team on the block

@hoosierdaddy - Auburn and South Carolina were TD wins for Bama. IU would stomp a mudhole in those teams.

It'll be close for a while but not at the end.  We're not only the best team in America, we're the best 4th Quarter team in America.  CCC's boys know how to finish, and with their foot on the gas.   Merry Christmas and go IU.

Georgia always seems to play down to their perceived competition.  So, it's hard to say.

Bama can't run the ball, and they have no pass rush.  That DL might help them but he'll be rusty.

@dbmhoosier Sam has been strong on the Hoosiers all year. Believe he predicted we'd beat both Oregon and OSU.
