New Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti had many bold statements on Thursday in Indianapolis and this included an update on the “battle” for the starting quarterback job. Cignetti’s track record with quarterbacks, which is fantastic, gives him the grace to do what he sees fit with the position. However, he will not name a starting quarterback and does not see the point in doing so.

Day 3 of Big Ten Media Day arrived and featured some of the most interesting group of coaches. During the press conferences today, we heard from the coaches from Oregon, Minnesota, Maryland, Washington, Indiana, and Michigan. While most of the coaches talked about their school’s program, Curt Cignetti was putting on one hell of a spectacle for all to see.
