A troubled 2020 season heralded a shortened version of the Big Ten Conference season last year. With the health of the country at risk, teams made a responsible and difficult decision to call a close to all events in August, and began a shortened, eight-game season on October 24th.

It is fitting that Ohio State is portrayed as Fat Tony, the mafia boss from The Simpsons since the fix looks o be on as the Big Ten could alter the rules that were mutually agreed upon prior to the season. It’s sleazy, it’s wrong , it’s done in the name of money and if you disagree with an Ohio State fan you could be sleeping with the fishes.

Stevie Scott III, Indiana’s junior running back, was named the Big Ten’s Offensive Player of the Week after his three touchdown performance in the Hoosiers 27-11 win over the Maryland Terrapins. Scott carried the ball 24 times for 80 yards.

Week five in the Big Ten was deemed “Separation Saturday” as the top four teams all faced each other. This led to some shake up among the Big Ten Power Rankings.

It was a largely uneventful week in the Big Ten as far as upsets go. Ohio State had their game against Maryland cancelled, but all the ranked teams won their games. Seats are getting hot at Michigan and maybe even Penn State as those teams continue to reel.
