Indiana Running Back Stevie Scott Named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

Stevie Scott III, Indiana’s junior running back, was named the Big Ten’s Offensive Player of the Week after his three touchdown performance in the Hoosiers 27-11 win over the Maryland Terrapins. Scott carried the ball 24 times for 80 yards.

Scott has 30 career touchdowns (28 rushing) and 2,387 career rushing yards during his time in Bloomington. Scott has been honored twice before by the conference as their freshman player of the week back in 2018. He is also the fifth Hoosier to earn honors from the conference this season, joining Ty Fryfogle (2x), Charles Campbell and Jamar Johnson as honorees.

So far this season Scott sits fourth in the Big Ten with 405 rushing yards, and second with 119 attempts and eight rushing and total scores.
