Which Indiana Football Players Would We Pick for the Cover of EA Sports College Football '25

Written by Sammy Jacobs (@Hoosier_Huddle)

It was leaked on Monday that the cover of EA Sports College Football ‘25 will be current athletes. That got us thinking…who would we pick for an IUFB only cover heading into the 2024 season?

For this article we are choosing five Indiana players who should be on the field for the Hoosiers this fall. Feel free to put your five cover athletes in the comments below.

Kurtis Rourke, Quarterback

Rourke is likely the starting quarterback for the 2024 season and was the MAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2022. Anytime your starting quarterback can be a star, they will be on every cover imaginable.

Aiden Fisher, Linebacker

Fisher had a big spring game for IU and made over 100 tackles on his way to All-Sun Belt honors last season with James Madison. He will be the on the field leader on defense for the Hoosiers in 2024 and he has the confidence to back it up.

Shawn Asbury II, Safety

Asbury is a hard-hitting, football-seeking missile on defense and that plays well with the fanbase. He should have had a pick-six in the spring game, but the play was called dead on a sack. He was also an All-Sun Belt performer at Old Dominion in 2023.

Elijah Sarratt, Wide Receiver

Sarratt will be the Hoosiers number one wide receiver in 2024. He had a 1,000-yard season last season at JMU and was an FCS All-American at St. Francis (Pa.).

Donaven McCulley, Wide Receiver

McCulley became the face of IU’s offense last year after he broke out the last half of the season. He has the smile and the playmaking ability to be the perfect cover athlete. New Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti called out McCulley in the spring and challenged him to be better, he responded the second half of spring practice.
