The way Indiana’s offense started the game was not what you wanted to see as a Hoosiers fan. Kurtis Rourke threw two back-to-back interceptions on their first two drives and things weren’t looking the best for Rourke and the offense. However, the Hoosiers maintained their composure and got the job done in a 42-28 victory over the Maryland Terrapins.

The Indiana Hoosiers blasted the Charlotte 49ers to improve to 4-0. IU is outscoring opponents 50.5 to 9.3 through four games and they are outpacing opponents 7.81 yards per play to just 3.67 yards per play. The Maryland Terrapins come to Bloomington and the Hoosiers have a chance to improve to 5-0 for the first time since the famous 1967 Rose Bowl team.

The Hoosiers had another impressive performance against the Charlotte 49ers last Saturday, but they are going into this week to face the toughest opponent they’ve seen so far in the season. This Saturday, the Indiana Hoosiers will host the Maryland Terrapins for their first home conference game of the season. If you remember what happened the last time these teams faced off against each other, the Terrapins came out victorious, defeating the Hoosiers 44-17. In order for Indiana to not repeat last year’s outcome and come out on top, they have to remain focused and continue to improve.
