The Indiana Hoosiers received another commitment after a major recruiting weekend in Bloomington. Triston Abram, out of Christian Brothers College in St. Louis, chose the Hoosiers over offers from Kansas State and Memphis among others.

Abram is a 247Sports Composite three-star prospect and the 17th best player in Missouri. He had a big junior season making 66 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and eight sacks. Abram also broke up four passes.

Drew Galloway of On3 wrote a scouting report for the former Kansas State prospect:

Abram uses his powerful hands to get offensive lineman off of him very well.

The junior is very relentless as well. He plays hard and to the whistle and can chase down the quarterback or running backs with his speed. Abram has a few plays where he has to run a long ways to get the ball carrier, but still tracks them down.

He is also very explosive, specifically in the first step. A lot of his highlight tape he explodes with power within the first step and has great first step quickness to be able to get around tackles at the high school level. He even has a play where he got around the tackle so quickly, he almost took a handoff from the quarterback.

Abram is listed 6’4” and 225 pounds. He is the 15th member of IU’s 2025 high school recruiting class.
