Written and Simulated by Sammy Jacobs (@Hoosier_Huddle)

The day is finally here! After a decade without a college football video game, EA Sports released the new College Football 25 Game (buy here) on Monday. This article will follow a simulation of Indiana Football’s 2024 season. We did not adjust any ratings. It is in no way a prediction of anything real and is just some good old-fashioned fun on an exciting day.

Overview

The simulation of the 2024 IUFB season was a roller coaster ride that saw the Hoosiers start 2-0, dip to 2-4 then rocket to 6-4 before a 6-7 finish. The offense went as quarterback Kurtis Rourke went and he help lead the Hoosiers to the LA Bowl in Curt Cignetti’s first season in Bloomington. IU scored a homecoming win over Nebraska, their second win over Michigan since 1987 and they reclaimed the Old Brass Spittoon.

However, the Hoosiers suffered a non-conference loss to Charlotte and could not win the Bucket Game in a blowout loss against Purdue.
