The Hoosier Huddle countdown to kickoff is over halfway complete! For the 100 days leading up to kickoff, we at Hoosier Huddle will feature every player from the 2024 roster in anticipation of Indiana’s first game of the season against Florida International University. Today, we will highlight a player entering his second season with the Hoosiers, Finn Walters.

Height: 6’4”

Weight:  246 Pounds

Position: Defensive Line

Coming out of Brebeuf Jesuit High School in Indianapolis, Finn Walters was recruited by some smaller schools such as Butler, Morehead State, and UT Martin before ultimately deciding to join the Indiana program as a walk-on last season. He has not yet registered any playing time or statistics for the Hoosiers, but he did earn defensive scout team player of the week honors in the week leading up to the Indiana State game.

This season, Walters will continue to serve as a scout team piece and use practice time as an opportunity to make a strong impression with the coaching staff.
