Hometown: Speedway, Indiana

A unanimous three-star recruit coming out of Speedway High School in Indiana, Ajani was ranked as a top-20 prospect in Indiana and a top-55 offensive line prospect. He held offers from West Virginia, Louisville, and Duke before ultimately committing to Indiana.

In high school, Ajani was named to the IndyStar Central Indiana Super Team and first-team All-Marion County as a senior, and a first-team All-Marion County honorable mention as a junior. As a senior, Ajani led an offensive line unit that scored 17 passing touchdowns and 14 rushing touchdowns and averaged 318 yards per game, including two 100-yard rushing games. As a junior, Ajani was part of an offense that averaged 307 yards and scored 17 rushing and 19 passing touchdowns.

In addition to his dominance on the offensive side of the ball, Ajani was also a leader on the defensive line. As a senior, he led the team with 19 tackles for loss and had 82 total tackles and 6 sacks. As a junior, Ajani forced one fumble and blocked a punt.

As a freshman, Ajani has the luxury of being able to sit behind and learn from veteran players like Nick Kidwell and Mike Katic. As he develops, Ajani could become a fixture on the Hoosiers offensive line for years to come.
