Indiana Center Harry Crider Declares for the NFL Draft

The Indiana Hoosiers will be looking for a new center in 2021 as Harry Crider, who started the entire 2020 season at the position has declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. Crider was a senior and had the option to return if he wanted to. He announced his decision on Twitter on Sunday.

Indiana WR Whop Philyor Declares for the NFL Draft

A day after fellow senior Ty Fryfogle announced his return for the 2021 season, Whop Philyor announced he will go in a different direction next year and enter into the NFL Draft. In Philyor’s last game with the Hoosiers, he secured an Outback Bowl, Big Ten bowl, and Indiana program record 18 receptions that went for 81 yards.

The spring is usually a busy time for players who have moved on from college football and decided to chase their professional football dreams. In the months between the end of the season and the NFL Draft, players usually would be working out with trainers and participating in pro days that are put on by their college or their local NFL teams. This spring, however, all those dreams were put on hold due to the shut downs caused by COViD-19. However, three former Hoosiers are thankful they already had their opportunity to showcase their talents and character for NFL scouts in person.
