Hoosiers Offer 4-Star Linebacker Dontavious Jackson

In college football a program must be moving forward and looking to the future constantly or risk falling behind the eight ball for success down the road. The Hoosier coaches have been busy in 2015 looking to get a fast start to the 2016 recruiting class. On Thursday the Hoosiers extended an offer to 247 Sports Composite 4-star linebacker Dontavious Jackson. Jackson is a 6-2 237 lb. inside linebacker from Houston, TX who holds offers from powerhouse programs like AlabamaOregon, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Michigan State among others.

Two Hoosiers Invited to 2015 NFL Combine

Signing Day has come and gone and the next progression in the college football offseason is the NFL Draft Combine that is being held in Indianapolis February 17-23 and is broadcast on the NFL Network. The combine is a weeklong workout for NFL scouts where players go through various drills, including the 40-yard dash, the bench press and the shuttle run. This year the NFL has invited two Hoosiers, running back Tevin Coleman and defensive lineman Bobby Richardson, to participate in the combine.

Star Ratings per each Recruiting Service for the 2015 Hoosier Recruiting Class

Here is a list of the Hoosiers' Class of 2015 signees and their respective star ratings per each recruiting service. Interesting to note is the discrepancy among the services when rating the same player. For instance, both Omari Stringer and Camion Patrick are rated as three-star recruits on rivals.com and 247sports, but scout has them ranked as two-star recruits. It's hard to know who is right and wrong until they step out on the field. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that both are closer to three rather than two-star recruits.

Indiana Running Back Myles Graham transfers to Monmouth

Indiana running back Myles Graham has left the program and has transferred to Monmouth University, per the Montmouth football twitter account. Monmouth is a Football Championship Series (FCS) school, meaning Graham will be immediate eligibility to see the field and will have three seasons left to play for the Hawks.
