The recruiting front for Indiana had been quite for some time, but the Hoosiers are making a splash on Thanksgiving as four-star defensive tackle Juan Harris recommitted to the Hoosiers on Thursday evening via Twitter.

Harris is coming from Parker High School in Janesville, Wisconsin and is ranked by 247 Sports as the third best prospect in the state of Wisconsin and the 293rd best player in the country. Harris is a massive lineman at 6-foot-4 and 368-pounds and will fit nicely into the spot vacated by Ralph Green.

The recruiting process has been a roller coaster with Harris who had decommitted from Iowa several times before committing to Indiana in July. That commitment lasted about two month before he decommitted from Indiana on October 16th, after taking his official visit to IU on October 1st. Harris was back on campus for IU's game against Penn State, after taking an official visit to Michigan on November 5th.

Harris held 20 offers including schools like Alabama, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio State, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan State, Louisville, and Nebraska. Harris was a major recruiting target for the Hoosiers and he had credited his relationship with Mark Hagen as one of the reasons he chose IU back in July.
