The Indiana Hoosiers will be looking for a new safeties coach as Noah Joseph has left IU to join the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as defensive backs coach as first reported by NJ.com. Joseph joined the Hoosiers staff in 2014 and spent four seasons coaching on the defensive side of the ball.

During his four seasons at IU, Joseph helped coach three All-Big Ten freshmen honorees (Marcelino Ball, Jonathan Crawford and Chase Dutra), two Freshmam All-Americans (Ball and Crawford), an Academic All-American in Mark Murphy and two All- Big Ten performers (Crawford 2x and Dutra).

The Hoosiers open spring practice on March 3rd and will play their annual Crimson and Cream game on Saturday, April 13th at Noon in Memorial Stadium.
