Running Back Trent Howland Returns to the Hoosiers from the Portal

Written by Sammy Jacobs (@Hoosier_Huddle)

It has been a whirlwind of a month for running back Trent Howland. After a breakout season where Howland led the Hoosiers in rushing with 354 yards and two touchdowns on just 75 carries, he entered the transfer portal. Howland had committed to Minnesota on December 10th. On December 17th, Howland has withdrawn his name from the transfer portal and will return to the Hoosiers.

Howland is following a couple Hoosiers who have recently returned from the portal and brings some stability to the running back room as he joins Josh Henderson, Justice Ellison and a couple others in the room.
