Quarterback Brandon Dawkins Leaves Program Five Days after Losing QB Battle

Graduate transfer quarterback Brandon Dawkins has left the Hoosier football program according to Tom Allen. Dawkins lost the quarterback battle to Peyton Ramsey last Thursday. Dawkins came in from Arizona to help shore up the quarterback position.

"We wish (Brandon) nothing but the very best. Fine young man." Allen said at his weekly press conference on Monday. Allen also mentioned that Dawkins wanted to sort things out and go in a different direction.

The move leaves the Hoosiers with two scholarship quarterbacks on the roster in Peyton Ramsey and Michael Penix.
