Judah Jenkins, a three-star prospect out of Maryland, believes he will bring speed and versatility to Indiana’s 2024 class and the defensive back field. Jenkins committed to the Hoosiers in June over offers from several Power Five schools.
“I will bring my physicality speed and my instincts for the game” Jenkins said in an interview with Hoosier Huddle.
Jenkins coach at Good Counsel, Andy Stefanelli knew he had the potential to be a Power Five player and considers him to be their lockdown cornerback. He is a two-time all-conference selection at Good Counsel.
“He is another power five guy. He’s had two games and he has two punt returns for touchdowns. He’s our lockdown corner.“ Stefanelli said in an article from Gridiron Football.
When Jenkins was in Bloomington in June for an official visit “Coach (Brandon) Shelby Coach (Tom Allen) and all the players welcomed me with full arms.” he said.
Jenkins also said that the entire coaching staff and the Hoosiers’ LEO philosophy “opened his eyes.”
The Hoosiers are looking at Jenkins to play all over the defensive secondary, which includes cornerback, the nickel corner and even safety.
Jenkins still has a senior season to play at Good Counsel and wants to work on “bring (more versatile is most important (and) getting stronger and even faster.”
