The Indiana Hoosiers received their eighth commitment in their 2024 high school recruiting class on Monday when defensive back Judah Jenkins chose IU over Boston College, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virgina and other Group of Five schools.

Jenkins is listed by 247Sports as a three-star prospect. He is listed at 5’11” and 175 pounds. He is from Olney, Maryland and plays his high school football for Good Counsel.

He is a two-time all-conference performer in the Washington Catholic Capital Conference, arguably one of the toughest conferences in the country.

Good Counsel coach Andy Stefanelli who talked to Gridiron Football about Judah Jenkins said “He is another power five guy. He’s had two games and he has two punt returns for touchdowns. He’s our lockdown corner.“
Jenkins is the second defensive back taken in the 2024 class for IU. That class sits at eight members and currently is ranked 59th nationally and 12th in the Big Ten.
